I believe this is the Mercamino I saw at Indy Cars and Coffee a few years back. If so crack pipe all day. Lots of the body work is bondo and was cracking then. It was a garage project gone mad made by amateur hobbiests. It was never worth more than 4 grand and I wouldn’t offer twelve hundred.

I don’t mind the automatic so much in something like this. I do mind the price. You could buy a 300TD and junkyard El Camino and have this done on your own for around the same price and at least know the shop that did it and the quality of the work.

I’d pay for the factory South American market ute, but I’d much rather have a 300TD than a hacked up one. I have a sedan but I might part with it for a really nice TD someday since I have other cars now.

Saw that car when I was at country classic. Sat in it & everything. Very cool.
